In recognition of the EU Alpha-1 Awareness Month 2020, Fundación LovexAir produced a video on 31 March 2020 featuring three international Alphas discussing life after the outbreak of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Karen Skalvoll (Norway), Arran Strong (Portugal) and Richard Lovrich (USA) are three people living with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, a genetic condition that affects the lungs and liver. They explain to us what is like for them during COVID-19 confinement and how that affects their social life, professionally, to their physical activity, lifestyle, and treatment.
