European Lung Foundation Conducts Alpha-1 Survey to Establish Future Research Priorities
The European Lung Foundation (ELF) is asking members of the Alpha-1 community for their help in identifying the challenges of care, treatment and living with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD).
A survey developed as part of the work led by European Alpha-1 Research Collaboration (EARCO), a Clinical Research Collaboration of the European Respiratory Society, looks to help experts in Alpha-1 come together to investigate this disease. The aim of the survey is to assess which topics of research respondents find most relevant or would like answers to in order to facilitate multidisciplinary collaborative research in AATD.
The information collected from the survey will influence the future research priorities of Clinical Research Collaborations (CRCs).
The survey, which is hosted by Survey Monkey, is open to people diagnosed with AATD, as well as parents, relatives and caregivers of people with AATD, and is available in the following nine languages:
This survey, which takes up to 15 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous, is open until 8 December 2019. For more information about the survey, please visit the European Lung Foundation’s website.
